The SwipeStack app icon: a stack of photos with a green check mark

Clear your camera roll, one swipe at a time.

SwipeStack shows you your photos and videos one at a time, starting with memories from this day in past years. Swipe left to delete, right to keep, up to archive. Everything stays on your iPhone.

Coming soon to the App Store. For iPhone, iOS 26 or later.

Three swipes. That’s the whole app.

One card at a time, so deciding takes a second instead of a weekend.

Left to delete

Marks it for deletion. Nothing is removed until you confirm, and iOS keeps deleted photos in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Right to keep

Done. It stays exactly where it is and drops out of your queue for the day.

Up to archive

Sets it aside to move off your phone: back it up to a USB drive, or send it to a private vault.

Start with this day.

Each day you get the photos and videos taken on this date in earlier years. A small queue you can finish, not forty thousand photos at once.

  • Switch to all photos, photos only, screenshots, videos or Live Photos whenever you like.
  • Live Photos and videos play right on the card, with a mute button and a scrubber for video.
  • Press and hold a card to share it. Shake your iPhone to undo a swipe.
  • A gentle daily reminder says how many memories are waiting, and a nudge if you stop partway. Both can be turned off.

Archive: get your space back without losing anything.

Reviewing is free. The Archive is a one-time purchase that moves what you picked off your iPhone, safely.

  • Back up to a USB drive. Plug in a drive, pick a folder once, and every copy is read back and checked before it counts.
  • Send to uLock. Copy photos, with their dates, locations and Live Photos, into uLock, an encrypted photo vault. It happens on your phone.
  • Delete the originals, only after the copy is safe. SwipeStack offers, and iOS asks you to confirm.
  • Full quality. Photos that live only in iCloud are downloaded in full first, so the copy is the real original.

Private by design.

No accounts. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. SwipeStack never uploads your photos: it works on your iPhone, and the only places a copy can go are a drive you plug in and an app on the same phone.
